What quality tests do you carry out on your wetsuits?Updated 2 months ago

Wetsuits are legally classed as Personal Protective Equipment (PPE), so notified bodies run tensile strength and thermal performance tests on all foams, fabrics, seams and components to ensure they perform as they should. O’Neill used independent, third-party laboratories to carry out screening on materials and foams to ensure they comply with European chemical regulations. In addition, there are many hours of in-water testing and fit checks by the product and engineering team in Santa Cruz before they are completely satisfied that a new wetsuit style can go into production.
