I bought my wetsuit from an independent retailer, can you help me with my warranty claim?
All warranty claims must be handled directly at the point of purchase, so you will need to contact the retailer for them to process your claim.
How do I choose the correct wetsuit size?
Height and chest are the primary measurements then the waist and weight often align, if in between sizes choose the larger size. For the best fit, try a wetsuit in-store.
What is the thickness distribution on a 4/3mm wetsuit?
The exact distribution per panel can vary by wetsuit model, but the torso and upper legs will be the thickest part at 4mm; then the shoulders, sleeves and lower legs will be 3mm. This distribution is similar for thinner or thicker wetsuits, such as 3

What is a ‘+’ or ‘plus’ wetsuit?
If a wetsuit is ‘+’ or ‘plus’ style then it has an extra 0.5mm added to the neoprene thickness throughout the wetsuit. This is only offered on the wetsuits featuring the most flexible materials, so you get the extra warmth without feeling restricted.
Do wetsuits offer UV protection?
Yes, any O’Neill wetsuit will provide UV protection to the covered areas.
Which wetsuits are suitable for vegans?
Technobutter neoprene is not suitable for vegans because it contains waste oyster shells in the neoprene foam, all other styles will be good.
Are the Reactor series wetsuits made from limestone or petroleum-based neoprene?
They are made from limestone-based neoprene. O'Neill does not use petroleum-based neoprene.
Which Hyperfreak wetsuits include the extra 0.5mm thickness?

What is the difference between Technobutter 3 and 4?
Technobutter 4 has Graphene coated fibres in the internal lining that are extremely effective at retaining heat. This keeps you warmer for longer, adds durability and speeds up wetsuit drying times compared with TB3 and all regular wetsuit linings.
Is it ok to use wetsuits in swimming pools?
No. Unfortunately the Chlorine will damage neoprene over time by bleaching the fabrics then breaking down glues used in construction causing delamination.
Can I put my wetsuit in the washing machine?
It is not advisable to put your wetsuit in the washing machine because it can damage the neoprene, glues and trim components. Rinse with fresh water after every use and drip dry out of direct sunlight. Please follow care instructions found in the use
